Because of the central location in the heart of Merano's villa district hotel Zima is a perfect starting point for walks into the old town with its beautiful little streets, promenades  and the thermes of Merano. The botanical garden of castle Trauttmansdorff is located in 10 minutes walking distance. The Sissi promenade for example connects the historical part of Merano with castle Trauttmansdorff, where the Austrian queen Sissi lived when she was in Merano.
